The theme of the Extravaganza is "fair play" and "participation".

All schools will commence proceedings by taking part in the Nations Parade, where each team is allocated a Country and must dress in costume. The best dressed school will take home a prize. Other prizes to be awarded on the day are: The Fair Play award and an award for best skills. Members of the Munster Team will be present on the day.
