The game had been switched to the Cork Con ground after Musgrave Park was deemed unplayable following heavy rain and the condition of the playing surface after the Dolphin/Bective Rangers AIB League game on Saturday.

PBC managed to cope with the superior Ard Scoil pack to record a four tries to three victory that sees them through to the March 17th final and an encounter with arch-rivals, CBC.

PBC left winger Edward Mills scored two tries with the others coming from right wing Finbar Dennehy and prop Brian Barry. Centre, Tom Gleeson landed three conversions.

Ard Scoil Ris scored three converted tries through, wing Stephen O'Brien, scrum-half Patrick Keating and flanker Darragh Murphy, with lock David Sherry adding the points.
