Ospreys Won't Take A Backward Step

"It's not going to be easy," says Ospreys coach Steve Tandy, "but the boys have shown throughout the season that they won't take a backward step and never know when they're beaten."
There's a certain message there from Tandy and he'lll be delighted to have among others, his skipper Alun Wyn Jones back from international duty as Ospreys vie with Munster (and Scarlets) for what is increasingly looking like the one place that realistically remains in the play offs.

The Welsh side are in fourth spot with 47 points, six clear of Munster in sixth and though all the pressure is on the home side, Tandy recognises how important this game is. " With four of our last six games away from home we understand the size of the task in front of us but we believe in the ability of this squad to rise to the challenge. It's important that we put in a big performance tomorrow night."

Like Munster, Ospreys have to go to Glasgow. And there's also a trip to the RDS for them to plan. So this game takes on an even greater significance for the title holders whose form graph has been on the rise these past few weeks.

Ospreys: R Fussell; T Habberfield, J Spratt, A Beck, T Isaacs; M Morgan, K Fotuali'i; D Jones, S Baldwin, C Griffiths; A Wyn Jones capt, L Peers; J King, S Lewis, J Thomas. Replacements: M Dwyer, M Thomas, D Arhip, I Gough, D Baker, A Ellis/S Davies, R Webb, T Grabham.
