It was Cullen's final game in the Wellington colours and he scored two tries in his side's 41-29 defeat by Auckland in the NPC final.

With six minutes left in the match, Cullen left the field with a shoulder injury and the crowd stood and applauded him for a full minute.

It is not known yet when he will arrive to join up with the Munster squad.
