Olympians At Thomond Park Stadium Tomorrow

Those attending tomorrow's Heineken Cup match at Thomond Park Stadium will have the opportunity to honour one of the great Olympians and also pay tribute to some of the Irish Paralympians who will be attending the game.
800 metre Gold Medalist David Rudisha will be introduced to the crowd at half time as will members of the Irish Paralympian Squad there as guests of Munster Rugby.

Rudisha will be accompanied by his trainer and mentor Brother Colm O'Connell who was in Dublin City University yesterday to receive an Honorary Doctorate from  in recognition of his contribution to sport through his athletics coaching programme in Kenya's Rift Valley.

Saturday opening hours for the Thomond Park Ticket Office:  9am to 6pm.

The mobile ticket office will also be at the Crescent Shopping Centre on Saturday from 10am to 5pm.
