Glasgow earned their place in the quarters when they accounted for League leaders Celtic Warriors at the Brewery Field in Bridgend on Friday and Munster will wear the tag of underdog when they play Glasgow for the first time in this competition.

Before that they travel to Wales for the game against Neath Swansea Ospreys and coach Alan Gaffney is confident that his injury problems at out-half will be somewhat eased by the return of Conrad O'Sullivan. "Conrad has been given the all clear and he will be in the squad for that game which is great news because Dutchy (Jason Holland) certainly won't be available.

Conrad was slotting in nicely at 10 up the time he was injured against Connacht so he remains an option for us in that position for the game against the Ospreys but Killian Keane will also be available to us."

Gaffney was speaking after he had watched the NPC game between Wellington and Taranaki on television, a game Wellington won 48-20 with a sparkling display from Christian Cullen who scored a try.
