    Cian made the move from the sub academy to the academy at the start of the 2011/12 season, and made his B&I Cup debut in October 2012 against Plymouth Albion.

    He made his senior RaboDirect PRO12 debut coming on as a replacement against Zebre in May 2013 and after two years in the academy secured a development contract for season 2013/14.

    Made his second PRO12 appearance off the bench in the first game of the 2013/14 season against Edinburgh at Musgrave Park.

    Played for a Munster Development side that defeated Russian professional outfit Enesei STM 34-24 in April '12.

    Picked up an ankle injury in December '12 against Rotherham Titans which ruled him out af action for a number of weeks. Joined the Munster development side that travelled to Barcelona in Feb. '13.

    He made his first Munster appearance when coming on against Gloucester in Thomond Park in the SEAT Series in August '13.

    As a 20-year-old he secured a development contract after impressing for the Ireland U20s in the 2010 Six Nations and at the Junior World Cup in Argentina.

    He made the move to a senior contract at the start of the 2011/12 season and played a central role in Munster's victory in the British & Irish Cup.

    Butler made his Heineken Cup debut in Paris coming on as replacement against Racing Metro in October 2012 and in total made seven Heineken Cup appearances in 2012/13.

    Fractured his right thumb in his first Heineken Cup start against Edinburgh in October and missed eight games before returning to the starting XV in the 22-16 win against Connacht at the end of 2013.

    Suffered from a spinal concussion while playing for Shannon in January 2014 which caused him to miss four games before returning against Treviso in March.

    The Shannon club man moved up to the academy from the sub academy at the start of the 2011/12 season after impressing in the British and Irish Cup.  He made his B&I Cup debut against Melrose in December 2010.

    When playing for the Munster U20s he lined out alongside fellow senior players Dave O'Callaghan, Paddy Butler, Simon Zebo and Luke O'Dea.

    Casey made his non-competitive debut against La Rochelle in the opening pre-season game of 2012/13 and secured a development contract for season 2013/14.

    Impressed on his Munster senior debut as a substitute in the Heineken Cup clash against Perpignan in December 2013. 

    Started his first game for Munster against Scarlets at Musgrave Park in December 2013 although he had to be withdrawn in the first half with a head injury.

    Played the full 80 minutes for the first time on his eighth appearance against Ospreys in February.

    Conway made the move to Munster at the start of the 2013/14 season after signing a two year contract.  

    He was included in the Emerging Ireland squad that travelled to Georgia for the Tbilisi Cup in June 2013 but picked up a calf injury while training, and took no part in the competition.

    He featured for the Irish U20s for two seasons, in 2009/10 and 2010/11, playing in two Six Nations tournaments and two Junior World Cups.

    Sustained knocks against Gloucester in pre-season and Glasgow in the PRO12 which has limited his game time early on in the 2013/14 season.

    Scored his first try for Munster in the bonus-point win away to Cardiff Blues in November 2013.

    Limerick born and educated at St Munchin's, Cotter joined the Munster Rugby Academy at the start of the 2010/11 season and, after completing his second year, earned a development contract for season 2012/13.  

    At the end of September 2012 he went on loan to London Irish for three games and in November played with Bath RFC against Harlequins.

    He made his British & Irish Cup debut in 2011/12 coming on against Neath, and played more of a prominent role the following season, featuring in seven games. Continues his development contract for the 2013/14 season.

    Made his senior debut as a substitute against Connacht in Thomond Park at the end of 2013.

    Dineen joined the senior squad on a development contract for season 2011/12 moving to a full contract for the 2012/13 season.

    Involved with the Munster Sub Academy in summer 2010, he secured a short term training contract early in the 2010/11 season after impressing in Munster A Interpro games against Leinster and Ulster, and in the British & Irish Cup game against Llanelli.

    He made his league debut coming on as a 70th minute replacement against Benetton Treviso, and a week later started against Ulster in Ravenhill, scoring his first league try to clinch victory.

    Dineen was one of three additional players added to the Heineken Cup squad in March 2013.

    Made a strong start to the 2013/14 season scoring a try in the first game of the league campaign against Edinburgh.

    Dineen scored his third Munster try - his second at Ravenhill against Ulster - in the first game of 2014 that ended in a 29-19 defeat.

    Sprained his ankle badly playing for Munster A against Nottingham the following week, an injury that kept him out until February.

    A former Ulster Academy and Ulster Ravens player who represented Ireland at U19s level. He featured on the Ulster Ravens side beaten by Munster in the 2010 British & Irish Cup semi final at Thomond Park. 

    Injury interrupted his progress and he moved to Rotherham Titans where he enjoyed two successful seasons before joining Munster at the start of the 2012/13 season.

    Made the step up to Heineken Cup rugby look easy in October 2012 scoring a try in rounds one and two, against Racing Metro and Edinburgh Rugby.

    Dougall's impressive displays came to a halt at the the start of November when he picked up a knee ligament sprain which saw him out of action until mid-December.

    Following a return from injury and game time at senior and A level, Dougall sustained further knee ligament damage against Connacht in Musgrave Park in March 2013, ruling him out for a month.

    During his first season with Munster, Dougall agreed a two year extension.

    Scored his third Heineken Cup try for Munster in the bonus-point win against Perpignan at Thomond Park in December 2013.

    Sprained an ankle against Connacht three weeks later but returned as a substitute against Cardiff Blues in February.

    Celebrated his first start in 2014 with a try away to Ospreys towards the end of February.

    From Clonmel, Co. Tipperary, Foley played a central role in Munster's run to the inaugural British & Irish Cup final in 2010, the same season he won his first senior cap as a second year academy member. 

    At the start of the 2010/11 season he secured a development contract and moved to a full senior contract the following season where he saw limited game time due to injury.

    He began the 2012/13 pre-season rehabbing, and made a return for the pre-season games against Bristol Rugby and London Irish in Musgrave Park.

    In addition to his 10 RaboDirect PRO12 appearances in 2012/13 Foley made seven appearances in the British & Irish Cup. 

    Foley was named in the Emerging Ireland squad to take part in the 2013 IRB Tbilisi Cup in Georgia in May 2013 and started all three games.

    Made his long-awaited Heineken Cup debut in January 2014 as a starter away to Gloucester and impressed as Munster prevailed on a scoreline of 20-7 and secured a quarter final place.

    A son of former Munster team manager and Irish international Jerry, he has played Ireland U19/21s and made his competitive debut for Munster in September 2007 and was promoted to a full contract in summer 2009.

    He played on the Munster side narrowly defeated by New Zealand in 2008 and played a central role in the defeat of the touring Australians two years later.

    Captained the winning British & Irish Cup side in 2012.

    Holland featured in all of Munster's RaboDirect PRO12 games in the 2012/13 season, starting in 14 and coming on as a replacement in eight.

    As consistent as ever this season, Holland made his 80th appearance for Munster against Perpignan in December 2013.

    Signed a two-year contract extension in February 2014 that will keep him at the province until June 2016.

    Johnny Holland moved up from the sub academy to the academy at the start of the 2012/13 season.

    A former Colaiste Chriost Ri student Holland is a product of the Munster Youths system and plays his club rugby with Cork Con.

    He made his British and Irish Cup debut coming on as a replacement in Munster's away win to Neath in November 2011 and made his senior debut against La Rochelle in the opening pre-season game in August 2012.

    Holland was awarded the 2012/13 Ulster Bank Young Player of the Year Award for Division 1A.

    Johnny featured in both SEAT Series games in the 2013/14 pre-season.

    Took part in the SEAT Series against Gloucester and London Irish in August 2013.

    Was named in the replacements for Munster's round 8 Rabo game against Cardiff Blues in November and made his debut in the 74th minute when replacing JJ Hanrahan.

    Another product of the Munster Academy, his father Gerry was a member of the Munster squad that defeated the All Blacks in 1978.

    Denis made his first competitive start for Munster against Llanelli Scarlets in Stradey Park in May 2006.

    He added just one cap to his total the following season but in 2007/08 became something of a cause celebre when making his debut, and preferred to Shaun Payne, for the Heineken Cup quarter final clash with Gloucester at Kingsholm.  

    Denis went on to start in the May Heineken Cup Final against Toulouse, playing his part in Munster's second Heineken Cup win.

    He won his first international cap (v USA in Santa Clara, California) and a Churchill Cup medal with Ireland A in summer 2009.

    Hurley graduated from the Munster Rugby Academy in 2008 and made his first Munster senior appearance when lining out against USA in August ’07, and made his Heineken Cup debut against Clermont Auvergne in Thomond Park that November.

    Gerry captained his club side Cork Constitution to an All-Ireland Bateman Cup title in May 2013, and he also captained the Ireland Club XV side against England Counties and Scotland Clubs in Feb '13.

    He re-joins Munster Rugby on a one year training contract at the start of the 2013/14 season.

    Made his first senior appearance in six years as he impressed off the bench against Connacht in the RaboDirect PRO12 in December 2013 at Thomond Park.

    Captained the Ireland club side at Temple Hill as they beat a Scotland Club XV on a 28-3 scoreline.

    Niall Kenneally signed an academy contract in November, 2013 having trained with the Munster squad during pre-season and playing the final 20 minutes of the Seat Series win over Gloucester at Thomond Park.

    Educated at Sligo Grammar School, the centre impressed for Munster A in their first Interprovincial game of the season, a 20-12 win over Connacht Eagles and made the move from UL Bohs to Cork Con in the summer.

    Made his first start for Munster A in the 23-9 win against Plymouth Albion in December 2013 at the RSC in Waterford.

    Harry lined out for the U20s side in the 2012/13 Interprovincial campaign and secured himself an academy contract off the back of his performances.

    He previously played his rugby with Dublin University, winning the IRFU Club Sevens title with them in May 2012.

    McNulty started playing rugby with Bahrain Rugby at U14s before moving to Clonmel with his family where he then went on to play with his school side Rockwell College.

    Ryan lined out for the Ireland U19s in 2012 against France and England, and featured on a Munster sevens side that travelled to Glasgow under the guidance of Elite Player Development officer Colm McMahon.

    Murphy most recently made his first appearance at Munster A level, coming on as a replacement for Tommy O'Donnell after 10 minutes in Munster's win away to Leinster in the A interprovincial (Nov.'12).  

    He then made his B&I Cup debut against Rotherham in December 2012 and was part of the 2013 U20s RBS 6 Nations Squad, starting in every game.  

    Ryan was one of five Munster academy players included in the Ireland U20s squad for the Junior World Championship in France in June '13. 

    He played his schools rugby with PBC & captained the side to an Avonmore Milk Schools Cup Final in 2011 against Rockwell.

    From Buttevant, Co Cork, Nagle has come through the Munster Rugby Academy and featured in Munster's pre-season games in 2009, scoring a try on his debut and later made his senior bow against Newport Gwent Dragons.

    After his second year in the Academy, he secured a development contract at the start of the 2010/11 season moving on to a senior contract the following year.

    In November 2010 Nagle was awarded the Man of the Match award when Munster defeated the touring Australians at Thomond Park and then went on to claim the Munster Rugby Young Player of the Year award for that season.  

    Nagle sprained his left foot against Zebre at the start of the 2013/14 season and made his return against Newport Gwent Dragons in November as a 67th minute replacement for Paul O'Connell.

    Joined English Premiership side Newcastle Falcons on a three month loan in February 2014.

    O'Callaghan spent three years at the Munster Rugby Academy and was added to the Heineken Cup squad in the 2011/2012 season.

    This was just reward for the impact he'd made at British & Irish Cup level and on the number of occasions he featured in RaboDirect PRO12 games.

    The Corkman had to wait until the end of 2012 for his first Heineken Cup start, excelling in a pool win over Saracens at Thomond Park.

    He represented the Ireland U20s in two Junior World Cup campaigns, in Japan in 2009 and in Argentina in 2010. 

    O'Callaghan signed a new contract at the beginning of 2013 that will keep him at Munster until at least 2015.

    The Cork man had to undergo surgery after injuring the patellar tendon in his right knee against Zebre in February 2014.

    Spent two years with the Munster Rugby Academy before moving to a Development Contract in 2012.

    Impressed at British & Irish Cup level and marked his first game for the senior side with a try in the RaboDirect PRO12 against Edinburgh in 2011.

    He wound up his debut year with an impressive four tries to his name.

    Signed a senior contract at the start of 2013 that will keep him at Munster until at least 2015.

    Was unfortunate to pick up a wrist injury in March 2013 against Leinster A and only made his return to club action in October although has yet to feature for Munster.  

    Picked up a slight hamstring strain playing for Shannon which kept him sidelined until Munster's round 3 B&I Cup game against Plymouth Albion in December where he unfortunately fractured a bone in his right thumb.

    Returned to action in 2014 but sustained a grade one lateral ligament sprain during Munster A's win against Connacht Eagles and is rehabbing.

    Munster Rugby Academy graduate, he's been a senior contracted player now since the 2009/10 season.

    Named Munster's Player of the Year after a hugely impressive 2012/13 campaign.

    Despite suffering two injuries, O'Donnell impressed in each of his 21 outings scoring four tries in the process to win the award ahead of Dave Kilcoyne and Simon Zebo.

    Earned his first Irish cap against the USA in June '13 but sustained a knee injury against Zebre in the league in September.

    O'Donnell returned to action ahead of schedule and made his comeback as a substitute for Munster A in the B & I Cup game against Plymouth in December. 

    Signed a two-year IRFU contract extension in November 2013 that will keep him at Munster until at least 2016.

    Named in the Ireland squad for the 2014 Six Nations and made his Six Nations debut as a substitute in the opener against Scotland. Came off the bench again a week later against Wales with Ireland going on to win the Six Nations in Paris.

    Jack made his British and Irish Cup debut at 18 years of age against Rotherham Titans in December after featuring in the Munster U20s interprovincial series.

    The Waterford man is a product of the Munster Youth's system having previously captained his club side Waterpark to an U17 Munster title in 2011 and the year previous was part of the All Ireland winning Waterpark U17 side that defeated Enniscorthy in the decider.

    In April 2012 he captained the Ireland U18 Club side against France and England and featured for the Ireland U19s in 2013 before getting a call up to the U20s squad for the Junior World Championship in France.

    Captain of the Munster U20s for the Interprovincial series in September 2013.

    Selected to take part in the IRFU training camp for U20s in November 2013 and started in Ireland Under-20s' first two games of the 2014 Six Nations Championship picking up the man of the match award against Scotland.

    The Limerick born UCC graduate came straight into the Munster squad on a Development Contract in Summer 2012 after impressive displays with Clontarf in the Ulster Bank League and equally impressive performances with the Ireland Club XV side.

    A product of Crescent College Comprehensive and Garryowen, O'Mahony is a former member of the Munster Rugby Academy and returned to the Munster set-up in April 2012 when he featured for the Munster A's in the British and Irish Cup winning semi final and final stages.

    His brother Ronan, a winger, joined him in the senior squad at the start of the 2013/14 season.

    Captained Munster A for the first time at the start of 2014 and led the side to a bonus-point win against Nottingham at St. Mary's RFC. 

    Made his first Thomond Park appearance for Munster as a starter against Cardiff in February.

    As a sub academy player O'Mahony made his Munster debut as a replacement against the Sale Sharks in the pre-season game in Musgrave Park in August '09.

    He made the move up to the academy at the start of the 10/11 season and after completing his three years secured a development contract for season 2013/14, joining his older brother Barry in the senior set-up.

    Ronan made his RaboDirect PRO12 debut scoring a try against Newport Gwent Dragons in April 2013 and was one of three academy players nominated for the Academy Player of the Year in May 2013.  

    O'Mahony burst in to the limelight when he scored a hat-trick against London Irish in the pre-season game in Musgrave Park and was subsequently named in Munster's Heineken Cup squad for 2013/14.

    Scored six tries in Munster A's first six games in the B&I Cup in the 2013/14 season.

    Captained Munster A for the first time when they beat Connacht Eagles 15-13 at the Sportsgrounds in February.

    Was on the bench for the November '11 Heineken Cup game v Northampton Saints and made his European debut against Racing Metro in January '13 in Thomond Park.

    Went on loan to London Irish for the opening games of the 2012/13 season.

    Niall captained the Ireland U20s at the 2012 Junior World Championships in South Africa and made his  British and Irish Cup debut in January 2013 against Aberavon RFC.  

    He secured a development contract for season 2013/14 after completing two years of the academy programme while his younger brother Rory was promoted to the academy.

    Scannell captained his school's side to victory in the Avonmore Schools Senior Cup in 2010.

    Included in Munster's 2013/14 Heineken Cup squad.

    Made his senior debut as a 30th minute substitute for the injured Duncan Casey against Scarlets and followed that up a week later with a start against Connacht at Thomond Park.

    Hyper-extended his elbow at training in January which forced him to miss out for a number of weeks but returned in February.

    Rory was promoted from the sub academy to the academy programme at the start of the 2013/14 season and is younger brother of former Ireland U20s Captain Niall Scannell who has been promoted from the academy to a development contract.

    From Cork the 19 year old centre played his schools rugby with PBC and now plays his club rugby with Dolphin.

    Rory started in all of the 2013 Irish U20s 6 Nation games, demonstrating his versatility by moving to the unfamiliar role of out-half for the England game.

    Scannell played an instrumental role in the U20s Junior World Championship in France in June, featuring in every game, starting at fullback in the opening game against Australia.  He also added 2 conversions and 8 penalties during the campaign.

    He has represented the Munster U20s for the last two seasons and has previously played for Ireland U18 Schools with Ryan Murphy in 2011 when they won the FIRA-AER European Championship. 

    Rory made his Munster senior debut against London Irish in Musgrave Park in the SEAT Series in August '13.

    The 25 year old hails from Ballysadare Co Sligo and he represented Connacht at U19 level before moving to Limerick where he plays his club rugby with UL Bohemians.

    A product of the Munster Rugby Academy, Sheridan has represented Munster A and played with the Ireland Club International side.

    As a developement player he started to break into the first team in the 2012/13 season, making seven appearances.

    Moved up to a senior contract in the 2013 season and made his Heineken Cup debut against Gloucester in October.

    Started his first Heineken Cup game away to Perpignan in December and played an important part in the dramatic 18-17 win.

    Suffered a setback away to Ulster at the start of 2014 after injuring the medial ligaments in his left knee. Ruled out for approximately 4-6 weeks.

    Sheridan returned to action against Cardiff Blues in February but suffered another setback towards the end of the month when he was ruled out for 3-4 months after breaking a bone in his right forearm against Ospreys.

    Stander joined Munster in October 2012 on a two year contract, making the move from Super 15 side the Blue Bulls in South Africa. 

    The back-row forward has captained the Blue Bulls at U19 and U21 level as well as South Africa at School and U20s level.

    He scored two tries on his first start against Glasgow Warriors at Thomond Park in December 2012 and repeated the feat at the start of the 2013/14 season with a double against Zebre in Italy.

    Made his Heineken Cup debut against Edinburgh in Murrayfield in October 2013 and signed a two year contract extension in January that will see him remain with the province until at least June 2016.

    Sweetnam joined the academy at the start of the 2012/13 season after impressing for Munster U20s in the Interprovincial series.

    The 20 year old commenced his rugby career with Dunmanway RFC, before making the move to senior club side UCC for season 2012/13.  He now makes the move to Dolphin RFC for next season.

    His involvement in the Irish U20s 6 Nation's campaign was his first representation at national age-grade rugby and he made 4 appearances including his first start against Italy.   He then joined the U20s at the JWC in France and scored two tries on his first outing against Fiji.

    Sweetnam also made his Munster A debut in the B&I Cup against Plymouth Albion in January 2013.

    Darren is widely know in Cork for his hurling credentials playing with club side Dohenys GAA and lining out for the Cork Senior Hurlers in the Allianz League and the Championship in 2012.  He also represented Ireland in hockey at U16s.

    Gerhard joined Munster in November 2013 (for two years) after completing his time with Western Province as they advanced to the Currie Cup Final in October.

    Van den Heever made his Super Rugby debut with the Bulls at the age of just 20 and enjoyed a highly successful two years there, winning the Super Rugby competition in 2009.

    He made the move to the Stormers in 2011 and has played provincial rugby for the Blue Bulls and Western Province, winning the Currie Cup with both sides.

    In making the move to Munster Gerhard joins his former Blue Bulls team-mate CJ Stander.

    It wasn't the best of starts for the young South African as he sustained a broken bone in his right hand when making his Munster debut against Newport Gwent Dragons.

    Scored two tries on his first appearance for Munster A - including an 80th minute effort that secured the bonus-point - in the 30-15 win against Nottingham at the start of 2014. 

    Followed that up a week later with another try away to Stirling before scoring his first try for the senior side against Cardiff Blues in February 2014. Scored his second try for Munster against Scarlets at the start of March.

    Another product of the Munster Rugby Academy Williams plays his club rugby for Cork Constitution and is a former Schools and Ireland U21 international.

    The scrum-half was awarded a full contract  at the start of the 2010/11 season and started against Australia in Munster's historic 15-6 victory in November 2010.

    Williams scored his first try for Munster in their 35-12 win against Scarlets in September 2011 and also touched down in Munster A's British and Irish Cup final win over Cross Keys in April 2012.

    He signed a two-year contract extension with Munster in March 2012.

    Signed a one-year contract extension at the end of February in 2014 that will see him stay with the province until June 2015.

    Originally from Stockport, winger Alex Wootton played for Ireland at the Under 20 World Championship.

    A product of Northampton Saints academy, Wootton went to England’s Sedbergh School, once attended by former England captain Will Carling and Gloucester winger James Simpson-Daniel.

    The winger has featured for the Munster Under 20s this season and plays his club rugby with Garryowen.

    Made his B&I Cup debut for Munster A against Plymouth Albion at the RSC in December 2013.
