    Cian made the move from the sub academy to the academy at the start of the 2011/12 season, and made his B&I Cup debut in October 2012 against Plymouth Albion.

    He made his senior RaboDirect PRO12 debut coming on as a replacement against Zebre in May 2013 and after two years in the academy secured a development contract for season 2013/14.

    Made his second PRO12 appearance off the bench in the first game of the 2013/14 season against Edinburgh at Musgrave Park.

    Signed a one-year development contract extension for the 2014/15 season.

    Played for a Munster 7’s side at the Limerick World Club 7s Festival in Thomond Park, August 2014.

    Ruptured both his anterior cruciate ligament and posterolateral corner in a pre-season game against London Irish at the Waterford RSC in August and is expected to be out of action for the next six to nine months.

    Signed a two-year contract extension in January - remaining at development status for 2015/16 and advancing to full contract status up until June 2017.

    After missing a full season of rugby Bohane returned for a league appearance in September 2015 against Treviso in Irish Independent Park.

    One of four Munster players in the Irish U20s side that featured in the Junior World Cup in South Africa in June 2012.  Also featured in the 2011 JWC in Italy after playing in the U20s Six Nations earlier that year.

    Made his British and Irish Cup debut against Moseley in December 2011.

    Played for a Munster Development side that defeated Russian professional outfit Enesei STM 34-24 in April '12.

    Picked up an ankle injury in December '12 against Rotherham Titans which ruled him out af action for a number of weeks. Joined the Munster development side that travelled to Barcelona in Feb. '13.

    He made his first Munster appearance when coming on against Gloucester in Thomond Park in the SEAT Series in August '13.

    Having completed three years in the Greencore Munster Academy, Buckley was named Academy Player of the Year 2014 and secured a Senior Development Contract for the 2014/15 season.

    Prop Rory Burke was educated at Christian Brothers College and plays his club rugby for Cork Con.

    Burke played for the Munster Under 19s in 2012/13 and progressed to the Under 20 side the following year.

    The prop also has international honours having represented Ireland at Under 19 level and he was called into the Irish under-age National Training Camp in October 2013.

    Made his B&I Cup debut for Munster A v Leinster A in Donnybrook, April 2014.

    Played in every game of the Ireland Under-20s' Six Nations campaign in 2014.

    Part of the Cork Con senior team that won the 2014 Bateman Cup.

    Included in the Ireland U20 squad for the 2014 IRB Junior World Championship in New Zealand.

    Made three B&I Cup appearances in 2014/15 but two ankle operations saw him miss much of the season.

    The back-row forward joined Munster on a one-year development contract at the start of the 2015/16 season.

    As a Leinster Academy player he made his PRO12 debut for in September 2012 off the bench against Newport Gwent Dragons at Rodney Parade, and was part of the Leinster 'A' squad that won B&I Cup titles in 2013 and 2014.

    Won a Leinster Junior and two Senior Cup School medals with Clongowes Wood College.

    He represented Ireland U20s during the 2012 6 Nations and Junior World Championship in South Africa.

    Made his Munster league debut against Ospreys in September and a month later scored his first try for the province against Cardiff Blues at Irish Independent Park.

    In making the move to professional rugby D'Arcy joined Munster during the 2015/16 pre-season campaign on a short-term contact and extended his stay when signing on for a further three months until the end of December.

    Made his Munster A debut against Leinster A in Donnybrook in October.

    While playing with Clontarf an honours laden season in 2014/15 saw him become the Division 1A Player of the Year as well as being the league's top try scorer.

    The Dublin native also captained the Ireland Club XV side against their French counterparts at the Aviva Stadium in February 2015.

    With injuries to Peter O'Mahony and Tommy O'Donnell back row signing Sean Doyle joined the province at the end of October on a three month contract.

    In starting every game for Munster A during the British and Irish Cup campaign, scoring one try, the early return of Tommy O'Donnell from injury limited Doyle's game-time opportunities at senior level.

    Represented Ardscoil Rís in the 2014 SEAT Munster Schools Senior Cup Final, losing to Crescent College Comprehensive, in the first all Limerick final in 105 years of the competition.

    Named on the Munster 7s squad that played in the inaugural Limerick World Club 7s in Thomond Park at the start of August 2014.  The 18-year-old showed impressive form in making the switch to the seven-man code.

    Went on to make his Munster senior team debut in a pre-season friendly away to Gloucester in August 2014 and captained the Munster U20s in the interprovincial series in September.

    Made his B&I Cup Munster A debut starting against Moseley RFC in Clonmel in October. 

    Lined out for Ireland U20s against a Munster Developmet XV at Temple Hill Cork, December 2014.

    In 2015, he started in four of Ireland’s U20 6 Nations matches and made a further four starts in the World Rugby U20 Championship in Italy.

    Went on to make his PRO12 debut in September 2015 against Ospreys at the Liberty Stadium, scoring his first senior try.

    Following impressive performacnes for Munster U20s and Cork Con U20s & senior team, Foley managed to force his way late into the Irish squad for the 2014 JWC.

    Part of the Cork Con senior team that won the 2014 Bateman Cup.

    Made his Ireland U20 debut against France in the pool stages of the 2014 Junior World Championship.  Having impressed from the bench against France and Wales, Foley earned a starting position for the Fiji encounter.

    Represented the Munster senior team in a pre-season friendly away to Gloucester in August 2014.

    Missed most of the 2014/15 season due to a knee injury and is targeting 2015/16 pre-season for a return to on-field action. 

    Lined out for the senior side in a pre-season friendly at home to Grenoble in August 2015, and later in the month also featured for Munster at the Limerick World Club 7s.

    A son of former Munster team manager and Irish international Jerry, and an academy graduate, he has played Ireland U19/21s and made his competitive debut for Munster in September 2007 and was promoted to a full contract in summer 2009.

    He played on the Munster side narrowly defeated by New Zealand in 2008 and played a central role in the defeat of the touring Australians two years later.

    Captained the winning British & Irish Cup side in 2012.

    Holland featured in all of Munster's RaboDirect PRO12 games in the 2012/13 season, starting in 14 and coming on as a replacement in eight.  Won the IRUPA Unsung Hero award for the same season.

    As consistent as ever, Holland made his 80th appearance for Munster against Perpignan in December 2013.

    Signed a two-year contract extension in February 2014 that will keep him at the province until June 2016.

    Played in Emerging Ireland’s 2014 Nations Cup winning campaign in Romania in June 2014.

    A very impressive 2014/15 campaign saw Holland niminated for the Player of the Year Award. This season also saw him reach the 100-cap mark against Connacht on New Year's Day. Added to the Ireland squad ahead of the clash with England in March but didn't make the matchday squad. Finished the season with 25 appearances. 

    Part of the Emerging Ireland squad that won the 2015 Tblisi Cup in Georgia, captaining the side for the final game against the tournament hosts.

    In March 2015 Johnston was part of the Rockwell College side that claimed the Munster Schools Senior Cup.
    Having previously represented Munster U18 Schools, the Clonmel native also captained Ireland U18 Schools during the Rugby Europe U18 Championship in France earlier this year.

    Joining the sub-academy ranks at the beginning of season 2015/16, the young fly half won inclusion - alongside his older brother and academy player David - in the Munster senior squad for all three pre-season encounters, starting the final game against London Irish at years of age.

    The following month the Garryowen man played his part in Munster U20s' Interprovincial success and was added to the full academy programme in November.

    Johston was a member of the Rockwell squad that won the 2012 Munster School's Senior Cup title.

    The same year he represented Ireland U18 Schools in the 2012 FIRA/AER European Championship in Spain where Ireland came second. The side also included his academy colleagues Gearoid Lyons and Greg O'Shea.

    The Clonmel man represented Munster U19s in the 2012/13 Interprovincial series and then represented Ireland U19s in April 2013 against England and France.

    He makes the move from the sub academy to the academy for season 2013/14.

    Played for Munster U20s in the Interprovincial campaign in September 2013.

    Following the campaign Johnston was selected to take part in the IRFU training camp for Under 20s. 

    Made his Munster A debut in the B&I Cup quarter final against Leinster A at Donnybrook in April 2014.

    Represented the Munster senior team in pre-season action, August 2014 - away to Gloucester and a week later in the SEAT Challenge against London Irish at the Waterford RSC.

    The second row Currow native is nephew of Munster great Mick Galwey.  

    During his time in Rockwell he won two Munster Schools Senior Cup titles, captaining the side that won the title in 2012 and a few weeks later went on to play for Ireland U19s against France and England.

    Sean represented the Munster U20s in the Interprovincial series in September 2012 and made the move from sub academy to academy at the start of season 2013/14.  

    He featured in three of the Ireland U20s 6 Nations games in 2013, starting against Italy and coming on against England and France before joining the U20s in France for the JWC where he featured in four of the games.

    Other representations include playing basketball for Ireland U16s and minor football with Kerry in 2011. 

    Made his B&I Cup debut for Munster A in the quarter-final against Leinster A in April '14 and represented the Munster senior team in pre-season action in August 2014 away to Gloucester and a week later in the SEAT Challenge against London Irish at the Waterford RSC.

    Made five starts for Munster A in the 2014/15 B&I Cup.  Sustained an ankle injury in January '15 that kept him out of action for the remainder of the season.

    Featured for the senior squad in Munster's pre-season friendlies against Grenoble and Connacht at Thomond Park in August 2015 and went on to start every game in Munster A's British and Irish Cup campaign for the season.

    Signed a one-year development contract making the move up to the senior squad at the start of the 2016/17 season.

    Made his league debut coming off the bench against Cardiff Blues at the Arms Park in March 2016.

    From Dungarvan, McMahon won the Munster Schools Senior Cup title with Rockwell in 2012 and represented the school again in the 2013 final.

    In April 2014 he played for a Munster Development XV that were narrowly defeated by Russian outfit Enisei-STM at Musgrave Park, scoring two tries from fullback.

    A month later he represented the Plate-winning Ireland U19s at the FIRA/AER European 7s Championship in Lisbon playing alongside academy colleagues Jack Cullen, Ben Kilkenny, Greg O'Shea and Tomás Quinlan.

    On joining the academy at the start of the 2015/16 season he represented Munster in the Limerick World Club 7s at Thomond Park in August 2015 and went on to make an appearance against Grenoble in Munster's pre-season game.

    A former Connacht Rugby academy player the UL Bohs man featured for the Munster As and Development Squad in season 2013/14 and joined Munster on a training contract at the start of this season.  

    He went on to make his debut against Gloucester at Kingsholm in August and then started in his PRO12 debut against Edinburgh in Thomond Park in the first competitive game of the season.

    As a Munster U20s player he lined out with current squad members Cian Bohane, Shane Buckley, Johnny Holland, JJ Hanrahan and Niall Scannell during 2010/11.

    He captained the Munster U18 Clubs side at the 2008/09 Interpros and was part of the Highfield U18s All Ireland winning squad in 2009.

    Signed a contract extension to stay with the province until the end of the 2015/16 season as a development player.

    A late call up to the Ireland U20s JWC squad in June 2015, he featured in four of their five encounters and kicked a last minute penalty from the touchline to clinch an opening victory against Agrentina.

    From Berrings, Co. Cork the CBC educated prop can play tight or loose-head.  He represented Munster at Schools & U19/20 level, and played with the International Club XV side in 2010 and 2011.

    Was on the bench for the November '11 Heineken Cup game v Northampton Saints and made his European debut against Racing Metro in January '13 in Thomond Park.

    Went on loan to London Irish for the opening games of the 2012/13 season.  Developed ulcerative colitis and battles with the condition in maintaining his weight.

    Played in Emerging Ireland’s Nations Cup winning campaign in  Romania in June 2014. 

    Made his first European start when lining out against Clermont at Stade Marcel Michelin in December '14. 

    Scored his first try for the province against Ospreys in March and finished out the 2014/15 season with 20 appearances.

    With injury ruling Stephen Archer out Uruguayan prop Mario Sagario signed a three-month contract with the province at the end of October and was included in Munster's registered European squad.

    Niall captained the Ireland U20s at the 2012 Junior World Championships in South Africa and made his  British and Irish Cup debut in January 2013 against Aberavon RFC.  

    He secured a development contract for season 2013/14 after completing two years of the academy programme while his younger brother Rory was promoted to the academy.

    Scannell captained his school's side to victory in the Avonmore Schools Senior Cup in 2010.

    Included in Munster's 2013/14 Heineken Cup squad.

    Made his senior debut as a 30th minute substitute for the injured Duncan Casey against Scarlets and followed that up a week later with a start against Connacht at Thomond Park.

    Hyper-extended his elbow at training in January which forced him to miss out for a number of weeks but returned in February.

    Signed a one-year development contract extension for the 2014/15 season.

    Picked up a fractured wrist during pre-season and will miss the start of the 2014/15 season.

    Made a return to PRO12 action against Newport Gwent Dragons at Rodney Parade in November.

    Featured heavily in the 2014/15 B&I Cup campaign for Munster 'A' and finished out the season with five PRO12 appearances.

    Rory was promoted from the sub academy to the academy programme at the start of the 2013/14 season and is younger brother of former Ireland U20s Captain Niall Scannell who moved from the academy to a development contract.

    From Cork the versatile back played his schools rugby with PBC and now plays his club rugby with Dolphin.  He represented the Munster U20s for two seasons and has previously played for Ireland U18 Schools with Ryan Murphy in 2011 when they won the FIRA-AER European Championship.

    Rory started in all of the 2013 Irish U20s 6 Nation games, playing across the backline.

    Scannell played an instrumental role in the U20s Junior World Championship in France in June 2013, featuring in every game, starting at fullback in the opening game against Australia.  He also added 2 conversions and 8 penalties during the campaign.  

    Went on to make his Munster senior debut against London Irish in the pre-season game in Musgrave Park in August 2013, and his Munster A B&I Cup debut against Stirling County in October '13 at Bandon RFC.

    Played for the Munster 7’s side at the inaugural Limerick World Club 7s Festival in Thomond Park, August 2014.

    Represented the Munster senior team in pre-season action again in August 2014 - away to Gloucester and a week later in the SEAT Challenge against London Irish at the Waterford RSC. 

    Made his PRO12 debut when starting away to Cardiff Blues in the round 7 game in November 2014.

    In January 2015 he was named the Ulster Bank League Rising Star of the Month after successful outings with his club side Dolphin RFC.

    Selected for the Emerging Ireland squad that won the 2015 Tblisi Cup in Georgia.

    Began the 2015/16 season with two consecutive PRO12 starts against Treviso and Ospreys and the final year academy player went on to make the number 12 jersey is own from December.

    It was confirmed at the end of 2015 that Rory will be promoted from the academy ranks to a development contract at the start of the 2016/17 season and will advance to a full contract for season 2017/18.

    The 25-year-old hails from Ballysadare Co Sligo and he represented Connacht at U19 level before moving to Limerick where he plays his club rugby with UL Bohemians.

    A product of the Munster Rugby Academy, Sheridan has represented Munster A and played with the Ireland Club International side.

    As a developement player he started to break into the first team in the 2012/13 season, making seven appearances.

    Moved up to a senior contract in the 2013 season and made his Heineken Cup debut against Gloucester in October.

    Started his first Heineken Cup game away to Perpignan in December and played an important part in the dramatic 18-17 win.

    Suffered a setback away to Ulster at the start of 2014 after injuring the medial ligaments in his left knee. Ruled out for approximately 4-6 weeks.

    Sheridan returned to action against Cardiff Blues in February but suffered another setback towards the end of the month when he was ruled out for 3-4 months after breaking a bone in his right forearm against Ospreys.

    Made a return to action in Munster's pre-season friendly away to Gloucester in August 2014.

    Sustained a further injury to his forearm when playing against Newport Gwent Dragons in the PRO12 in November.

    Returned to action for Munster 'A' against the Ulster Ravens in April and also featured for the province in the 2015 Guinness PRO12 Final.

    A graduate of the Munster Rugby Academy, Sweetnam joined the provincial set-up at the start of the 2012/13 season after impressing for Munster U20s in the Interprovincial series.

    The 20 year old commenced his rugby career with Dunmanway RFC, before making the move to senior club side UCC for season 2012/13.  He now makes the move to Dolphin RFC for next season.

    His involvement in the Irish U20s 6 Nation's campaign was his first representation at national age-grade rugby and he made 4 appearances including his first start against Italy.   He then joined the U20s at the JWC in France and scored two tries on his first outing against Fiji.

    Sweetnam also made his Munster A debut in the B&I Cup against Plymouth Albion in January 2013.

    Darren is widely know in Cork for his hurling credentials playing with club side Dohenys GAA and lining out for the Cork Senior Hurlers in the Allianz League and the Championship in 2012.  He also represented Ireland in hockey at U16s.

    Gerhard joined Munster in November 2013 after completing his time with Western Province as they advanced to the Currie Cup Final in October. 

    Van den Heever made his Super Rugby debut with the Bulls at the age of just 19 and enjoyed a highly successful two years there, winning the Super Rugby competition in 2010.

    He made the move to the Stormers in 2011 and has played provincial rugby for the Blue Bulls and Western Province, winning the Currie Cup with both sides.

    In making the move to Munster Gerhard joins his former Blue Bulls team-mate CJ Stander.

    It wasn't the best of starts for the young South African as he sustained a broken bone in his right hand when making his Munster debut against Newport Gwent Dragons.

    Scored two tries on his first appearance for Munster A - including an 80th minute effort that secured the bonus-point - in the 30-15 win against Nottingham at the start of 2014. 

    Followed that up a week later with another try away to Stirling before scoring his first try for the senior side against Cardiff Blues in February 2014. Scored his second try for Munster against Scarlets at the start of March. 

    Made his Heineken Cup debut v Toulouse, April 2014.

    Played for a Munster 7’s side at the Limerick World Club 7s Festival in Thomond Park, August 2014.  Sustaining a knee injury at the tournament, he will miss the opening weeks of the season.

    Made his first European start against Clermont Auvergne at Thomond Park in December and unfortunately picked up a right knee injury.  Required surgery for cruciate ligament damage at the end of December and will return to action in Season 2015/16.

    Another product of the Munster Rugby Academy Williams plays his club rugby for Cork Constitution and is a former Schools and Ireland U21 international.

    The scrum-half was awarded a full contract  at the start of the 2010/11 season and started against Australia in Munster's historic 15-6 victory in November 2010.

    Williams scored his first try for Munster in their 35-12 win against Scarlets in September 2011 and also touched down in Munster A's British and Irish Cup final win over Cross Keys in April 2012.

    He signed a two-year contract extension with Munster in March 2012.

    Signed a one-year contract extension at the end of February in 2014 that will see him stay with the province until June 2015. 

    Made his first European start away to Saracens in round 5 of the Champions Cup in January 2015.

    Originally from Stockport, winger Alex Wootton played for Ireland at the Under 20 World Championship.

    A product of Northampton Saints academy, Wootton went to England’s Sedbergh School, once attended by former England captain Will Carling and Gloucester winger James Simpson-Daniel.

    Made his Munster A debut in December 2013 against Plymouth Albion at the RSC in Limerick.

    Included in the Ireland U-20 squad for the 2014 IRB Junior World Championship in New Zealand.

    Featured against Nottingham for Munster A in the 2014/15 B&I Cup and also in the Interprovincial Series win over the Ulster Ravens in April.
