A total of eight teams of first year students participated in the event with the primary objective being to promote rugby within the school in a fun environment. 

Tag rugby is a useful method of introducing rugby in a free flowing manner and has been embraced by clubs and colleges across the province.

Munster Rugby would like to thank Liam Crowley of Bandon RFC for his assistance in coordinating the event as well as St. Brogan’s College staff who helped out on the day.
