Schools PR Initiative Presentation.

Munster Rugby's Competition manager, Olan Allen, recently made a presentation to students from schools that helped in the coverage of this season's Avonmore Milk Munster Schools Cup campaigns.

Domestic Rugby Manager Ultan O’Callaghan said “This was a project initiated by Munster Rugby and the Schools to get up to date information of the games in the latter stages of the School Cup competitions”.

“The Students selected by the schools reported on the team selected prior to the game, the half time and full time score as well as their school scorers. This allowed Munster Rugby to update their web site instantly and also keep the media up to date.”

Ultan thanked the schools for their participation in this project which proved a great success and hoped going forward this kind of liaison with the schools will expand in promoting schools rugby.
