Last week-end Munster Rugby ran a foundation level coaching course for Schools Coaches at the PBC grounds, Wilton, Cork.
A total of 34 coaches attended the two day course representing PBC, CBC and Bandan Grammar schools.

The course saw the induction of the new refreshed IRFU course material and involved both indoor tutorials and outdoor practical sessions.

Areas covered included an introduction to the IRFU Long Term Player Development Plan and the Rugby Technical model. Modules also included the Role of the Coach, Teaching Rugby Skills, Planning and Organisation, Individual Skill Development and Key Factor Analysis.

Munster Rugby would like to thank PBC for the use of their indoor and outdoor facilities over the course duration.
