Sean McCarthy, nephew of Munster legend Mick Galway will captain the Rockwell side tomorrow. It will be the school’s fourth final in succession and McCarthy is confident his squad have the experience to go all the way.
St. Munchins College last won the cup in 2006 and will be vying for their 6th title under the captaincy of Lee Nicholas.
For the first time in the history of the competition triplets will take part in the final. The Ryan triplets Gavin, Evan and Darren, sons of ex Munster player Ray Ryan, will line out in the forwards for the Limerick side.
