The game was played in good spirit with a willingness from both teams to run the ball. Waterpark led 7-0 at halftime with a try from fullback Stephen Jones which was converted by Glen Kavanagh.

Further tries in the second half by prop Brian Walsh, second row Harry Donnelly and centre Glen Kavanagh, who also added one conversion, helped seal the league title for Waterpark.
