In its second year running Munster Rugby has continued to support this programme with CLASP students who have spent the last nine weeks this season developing their knowledge of the game with the primary focus on the basic skills and principles of rugby.

As the majority of the training has been one to one coaching and refereeing modules, it is envisaged participating students will play an active role in rugby promotion within their communities.

Students are currently taking part in coaching Limerick Regeneration leprechaun rugby sessions in schools, blitzs’ and camps under the guidance of Community Rugby Officer Andy Brace to gain valuable work experience to apply within their future working environment.
