Abbeyfeale Develop Mini Players

Ray Gadsden, Community Rugby Officer for the West Munster area attended a training session yesterday morning in Abbeyfeale RFC to assist with the development of players and coaches in the club's mini section.

Abbeyfeale currently have over 120 boys and girls at mini level feeding into the club’s youth section with a high standard of basic pass, receive and tackle rugby skills developed from a very early age.

Following the morning’s mini training session the Abbeyfeale Under 11’s took on neighbors Newcastle West in a very close contest with the home side coming through as eventual winners.

Munster Rugby would like to thank Abbeyfeale RFC for the very warm welcome received on the day and look forward to working with the club again in the near future.
