Mini Schools Blitz At Thomond RFC

Munster Rugby recently hosted a 10-a-side Mini Schools blitz for fifth and sixth class school pupils from Scoil Ide, JFK and Corpus Christi at Thomond RFC.

The focus on the day was to promote rugby in the northside area of Limerick with the main emphasis on participants having fun whilst developing their skills, knowledge and understanding of the game along the way.

Thomond RFC has a long and proud reputation for the introduction and development of young players and the majority of participants at the blitz were already involved in rugby within the club.

All participating children were presented with Munster/IRFU posters, pens and key-rings for all their efforts and determination.
