A selection of players from the Daughters of Charity in Munster recently took part in a challenge match at Garryowen Rugby Club.

They got off to a blistering start when winger Rory O’Connor raced in for a try at the corner after five minutes and Darragh O’Brien expertly converted from the touch line.
Conor Quinlan added a drop goal five minutes before the break and on the stroke of half O’Brien landed a penalty for a 13-0 interval lead.
With the elements in their favour in the second half the Division 1B side opened their account with a penalty on fifty five minutes from Aidan McNulty.
In a rip roaring final quarter the home side had two of their players shown yellow cards and one a red one and despite having thirteen players on the pitch for some of this period the Tipperary side repulsed everything that U.L. threw at them for another famous victory.
Cashel will now face the winners of the Dolphin Garryowen tie in next week’s semi final.
