A Munster Under 17 combined selection of players from the Regional Development Squad and Munster 'B' Schools recently attended a 11 a-side blitz at Cork Institute of Technology grounds.

Newcomers to senior rugby Cashel play Sunday’s Well in the only first round tie with the winners away to the All Ireland Junior Cup holders Crosshaven in Round Two.
The tie of the second round must be the meeting of old rivals Cork Constitution and Garryowen. In another all First Division clash Young Munster entertain U.C.C. a repeat of the 2009 final.
Cup specialists Shannon travel to Nenagh Ormond with the winners facing either Young Munster or U.C.C.
Dolphin host Old Crescent at Musgrave Park and there is one all Limerick clash with Thomond entertaining U.L. Bohemian and in Cork Highfield are away to Midleton.
