Estuary RFC Leprechaun Rugby Blitzes

Estuary RFC recently hosted two Leprechaun Rugby Blitzes for national school pupils.

The tournament brought together children from eight schools which included Askeaton, Foynes, Glin, Ballyguiltinane, Shanagolden, Loughill, Ballyhahill and Carrickerry.

The first blitz was for third and fourth class students while the second blitz catered for children in fifth and sixth class.

With perfect weather conditions all teams showed great skills and competitive rugby with Ballyguiltinane NS and Shanagolden NS sharing the winning plaudits in a tied final.
