This week's Club Notes come from Carrick-on-Suir RFC.
Shannon after their disappointing defeat last week against Garryowen will want to bounce back with a win at Coonagh when they take on St. Mary’s College.
Dolphin who had a great win last week away to Blackrock will be looking to pick up the points when they face Garryowen at Musgrave Park.
Both Bruff and U.L. Bohemian must win if they are to keep their faint hopes alive of promotion into the top division next season from division 1B. U.L. Bohemian travel to the Aviva Stadium to face Lansdowne and will have to win to keep their challenge alive.
Bruff are at home to U.C.C. and after a few disappointing league results in recent weeks must win against the students who are aiming to pull away from the bottom of the table.
In Division 2 Midleton are away to Corinthians and will do well to get a win an dkeep their promotion hopes alive.
The other Munster sides in this division occupy the three bottom places. Clonakilty who are at foot of the table are at home to Malone and will fancy their chances of recording their second win of the campaign.
Thomond two points above Clonakilty are at home to DLSP and the Kilternan side have moved up the table with some impressive results in recent weeks and the Limerick side will have it all to do to end their string of defeats in the last few weeks.
Old Crescent three points ahead of Clonakilty are at home to Old Wesley the side above them in the table. Crescent are capable of taking the points but will have to tighten up their defence.
Sunday’s Well boosted by last week’s win over Highfield can put the pressure on the promotion sides in Division Three with an away win over bottom side Connemara.
Nenagh Ormond are putting in a late challenge and should continue their good run with an away win over Navan.
