Rockwell Advance in Avonmore Milk Schools Senior Cup

There is to be no repeat of last season's heroics by Bandon Grammar after Rockwell proved too strong for then in their First round tie in the Avonmore Milk Munster Senior Cup tie at Bandon RFC grounds at Old Chapel where they ran out 31-0 winners.

The twice beaten finalists in the last few two years dominated throughout and had the game wrapped up by half time.

They ran in five tries with Harry McNulty, David Johnston, Richard Moore, Luke Cahill and Cathal Ryan being their try scorers. Brian Hough kicked three conversions.

Rockwell will now face St. Munchin’s in two weeks time in the next round.
