The U16 cadets and U17 development squad players have been selected from clubs within the four sub regions to participate in strength and conditioning and specialized training programmes coordinated by Munster Rugby staff and assisted by Munster club volunteer coaches.

All regional development squads will compete in the round robin series scheduled for February with a view to securing a place on the Munster U18 club representative squad.
