IRFU Referee Development Officer Dave McHugh and Munster's Community Rugby Officer Ray Gadsden with course participants at Skibbereen RFC
Coaches from Skibbereen, Bantry Bary, Dunmanway and Clonakilty rugby clubs recently attended the IRFU Associate Referee Course held in Skibbereen RFC hosted by former international referee David McHugh.
The primary purpose of the course was to give participants a basic knowledge of refereeing and better understanding of referee principles and the laws of the game.
Attendance on this course is necessary for anyone who wishes to referee any age-grade games, training games and blitzes.
