The Munster Women recently took on Connacht in the opening match of this season's Interprovincial series in Musgrave Park.

It was a big day for Tralee RFC with three Club players represented in both the red and green jersey.

Connacht’s centre Christine Arthurs and lock Niamh Dempsey took on club team-mate and Munster wing forward Siobhan Fleming seeing the home team come away with a 27-7 win.

Following two comprehensive victories over Connacht and Ulster the Munster Women will face old rivals Leinster on Sunday, 28th November in Donnybrook k.o. 13.00 (TBC) competiting for their five in a row Interprovincial title.

Finals to take place 4th December – Venue TBC, Leinster.
