This season sees Munster chasing their fifth Interpro title in a row and Head Coach John O’Sullivan and his squad are well prepared for their two upcoming away fixtures.
O’Sullivan keeps faith with his starting XV that won against Connacht and has delayed confirming Saturday’s replacements naming nine players for now.
A notable inclusion is international number 8, Joy Neville, returning from injury.
Captain, Helen Brosnan is one of eight starting Irish International players and is joined by fellow club internationals Laura Guest and Chris Fanning of Highfield RFC.
International players Louise Austin, Blackrock, UL Boh’s Niamh Briggs, Mairead Kelly, Louise Beamish and Bristol's Gillian Bourke will also feature in the starting fifteen.
Munster Women’s Squad: Niamh Briggs (UL Bohs), Olivia Stapleton (UL Bohs), Mairead Kelly (UL Bohs), Geraldine Rea (Highfield) Sarah Jane Cody (UL Bohs), Helen Brosnan (Highfield) (Capt), Louise Beamish (UL Bohs), Laura Guest (Highfield) Christine Fanning (Highfield), Gillian Bourke (Bristol), Karen Casey (Highfield), Heather O’Brien (Highfield), Louise Austin (Blackrock), Siobhan Fleming (Tralee), Helen Jones (Highfield).
