Over the course of the tournament, the senior mens and senior womens champions were crowned from colleges across the province, with squads from Cork, Waterford, Kerry, Tipperary and Limerick in participation.

Limerick IT won the senior men’s title after a spirited effort from Tralee IT in the final. The women's decider was eventually clinched by Tralee IT following a late onslaught by the Limerick IT students.
