Whitechurch in association with Munster Rugby recently ran an extensive rugby programme in the local schools in advance of their official launch.  The interest raised was clearly evident on the opening night when more than 70 children turned up to play rugby.

The Club's Mini Rugby Coordinator James Hegarty was enthusiastic when he stated "The future of any club is with the youth and we in Whitechurch are delighted to embark on this venture and are committed to providing rugby in the area".
