Leaders Richmond made it five wins out of five with a 22-3 home victory over fourth placed Waterpark. This result now sees the Waterford side twelve points behind the leaders and hopes of a quick return to the AIL must now be very doubtful.
Derek Mitchell, Michael Kelleher and James McDermot scored tries for Richmond and man of the match out half Wayne Murphy kicked two conversions and a penalty. Brendan Walsh replied with a penalty for Waterpark who trailed 7-3 at half time.

Tralee in second place defeated Ballincollig 28-5 the side just behind them in the table, but the scoreline does not do justice to the challenge the Kerry side received from the newly promoted side.
Paudge Bohane gave Ballincollig a 5-0 interval lead but tries by Brian O’Sullivan, Joe Costelloe, Garret Walsh and Nicky Benner all converted by Walsh secured the points for Tralee. 

Skibbereen moved up to a mid table position after their 11-6 away win over St. Senan’s. Skibbereen who led 6-3 at half time had all their scores from David Shannon who got a try and two penalties. Jake Egan kicked two penalties for the home side.

All the other three games in the top Division were postponed.

Old Christians are the new leaders in the Second Division following their 22-12 away win over Youghal. The visitors had tires from Kieran Ware, Aidan Ware and Noel Finneran, with Aidan Tobin kicking two conversions and a penalty. Alan Fox and Steven Kelly replied with tries for the east Cork side and Jonathon Ormond added a conversion.

Kinsale defeated Muskerry 22-3 to keep their promotion challenge on track. Edouard Brouard-Lemaire scored two tries for Kinsale. Jason Murphy added a try, penalty and two conversions. Ed Long replied with a try for Muskerry.

Ennis got their first win of the campaign with a 19-10 home win over Newport. Ger Quinn scored a try for the Clare side and Bryan Murphy converted and also added four penalties. Kieran Kett and Dave Egan replied with tries for Newport.

Newcastle West moved ahead of Bandon in the table after their 17-3 away win over the West Cork side. Richard Langford, Vincent O’Doherty and Declan Moloney were try scorers for the winners and Tommy Kelleher added a conversion. Eanna Kelleher replied with a penalty for the home side.

Castleisland won the big game in Section A of the Third Division when they defeated Presentation 34-3 to maintain their ten point lead. Pat Fitzgerald, Daniel Walsh, Mark Connolly and Joe Lyons scored tries for the Kerry side and Connolly kicked four penalties and a conversion,

Killarney collected maximum points from their home game with Killorglin with a 32-5 victory. Brian O’Sullivan and Paul O’Sullivan each scored two tries for the winners and Mike Nash got one. Sean Hickey kicked two conversions and a penalty.

The Abbeyfeale v Scariff, Kilrush v Corca Dhuibhne ties were postponed as was the Mallow v Douglas game in Section B.

Charleville maintained their lead in section B with a 17-7 home win over bottom side Shandon. Peader Cronin, Ger Sheehan and Philip Hogan scored tries for the home side and Frank Holly added a conversion. Eoin Murnane relied with a try for Shandon which Barry Leahy converted.

Carrick-on-Suir held on to second spot when they came from 10-0 down at half time to defeat Waterford City 14-10. Conan Watt scored a try for Waterford and Aaron Foskin kicked a conversion and penalty. Tries by Brian Dignam and Dylan Davis both converted by Mike Cronin gave the Tipperary side the points.

A penalty by Joe Lee in injury time earned Fermoy an 8-6 away win over Dungarvan. Michael Irwin had Dungarvan in front at the break with two penalties and Conor Ahern replied with a try for the visitors.

Richmond caused an upset in the Gleeson League when they defeated U.L. Bohemian 19-15. Brian O’Callaghan and Pat McNamara scored tires for Richmond and Darragh Clancy kicked three penalties.

Dunmanway collected maximum points in their section of the Junior Two League with a 27-0 away win over Clonakilty. Gordon Brett and Matt Saunderson each scored two tries and Mark Kingston converted two of the tries and also added a penalty.

Kanturk defeated Castleisland 28-3. Denis O’Brien, Johnny O’Sullivan, Conor Breen and Pat Fitzpatrick scored tries for the winners and John the rebel Cronin converted all four.

Bandon defeated Shandon 16-0 in the Junior Three League. Joe McCarthy and Ciaran Cronin each scored a try and McCarthy kicked two penalties for Bandon.

Mallow defeated Fermoy 11-3. Brian Henry scored a try for the winners and Gavin O’Keeffe kicked two penalties.

Two penalties by Darragh Dunne helped Cork Constitution to a 6-5 victory over Sunday’s Well in the Under 21 South West Conference. Liam Walsh replied with a try for the ‘Well.

Two tries by Deirdre Cronin helped Youghal to a hard earned 12-10 win over Young Munster in the Second Division of the Women’s All Ireland League.
