Douglas without a win in the Third Division travelled to promotion chasing Killorglin and defeated the home side 15-10. All the scores came in the opening half. Mark Coveney and Shane Burke scored tries for Douglas and Paul Byrne kicked a conversion and penalty. Morgan Foley replied with a penalty for Killorglin and Dave Coffey converted and also added a penalty.
Abbeyfeale followed up their big league win over Charleville last week with a 20-13 away win over Waterford City. Patrick Twomey, Michael Enright and Ger Walsh scored tries for the visitors and Michael Roche kicked a conversion and penalty. City had a try from Simon O'Hara and a conversion and two penalties by Darragh Walsh.
Division Three leaders Dungarvan had a convincing 36-19 away win over Corca Dhuibhne to setup a second round meeting with Sunday's Well. Darrell Ryan scored two tries for the winners and John Cooney, Robbie Buckley, Cian Walsh and David O'Riordan got one each. Conor Foley kicked three conversions. The West Kerry Gaeltacht side replied with tries from Neil Flaherty, Ciaran Collins and Eamon Hickson with Collins adding two conversions.
Carrick-on-Suir received a walk over from Kilrush.
The top two sides in Division One of the Munster Junior League are due to meet in Limerick next week in a game that could have a big bearing on the destination of the Munster Junior League title. Leaders Richmond held on to top spot with a 14-5 away win over Waterpark. James McDermott scored a try in the opening half for a 5-0 lead for Richmond. Jonathon Ford added three penalties after the break and James Walsh replied with a try for Waterpark.
Second place Kanturk's away game with Crosshaven was postponed and this allowed Skibbereen to move ahead of the Duhallow side with a 42-0 home win over Clanwilliam. The winners scored twenty one points in each half. Michael Limerick, Peter Mihaere, Peter Stout, Kieran Shannon, Michael Calnan and David O'Keeffe were try scorers for Skibbereen and Ger Hurley kicked two penalties and three conversions.
Old Christians caused a big upset with a 9-6 home win over title chasing Galbally. A penalty from Aidan Tobin and a Conor Quaid drop goal for Christians had the sides 6-6 at half time, David Guerin replied with two penalties for the Limerick side. Conor Mangan kicked a penalty after the break to secure the points for the Rathcooney side.
Clonmel defeated Thurles 11-0. The visitors led 3-0 at half time with a penalty from Brian Lonergan. Danny Lyons kicked a second penalty after the break and Jaco Oosthuysen scored a try.
A second half try from Alan Langford converted by Mark Chandler gave Cobh Pirates a 7-3 away win over Tralee. Garrett Walsh kicked a penalty for the home side in the opening half.
St. Senan'sand Kilfeacle shared the spoils after a 3-3 draw at Jim Slattery Park. The sides were scoreless at half time. Declan Collins kicked a penalty for the Clare side and Mark Burke replied with one for Kilfeacle.
The meeting of the two unbeaten sides in Division Two resulted in a home win for leaders Mallow over Presentation on a 14-6 scoreline. Mallow led 14-0 at half time with a try from Sam Holt and three penalties by Michael Lucey. Shane O'Brien replied with two penalties for the Rathuard side in the second half.
St. Mary's remain in second place after their narrow 16-14 away win over Youghal. The home side led 14-3 at the break with a try from Alan Moloney and three penalties by Aaron Daly to a Sean Lyons penalty. Tries from John Barry and an intercept by Matthew Ryan and a second Lyons penalty saw Mary's take the spoils.
Kinsale have moved ahead of Presentation after their 33-0 away win over Ballincollig. Joe Lyons and Stephen Murphy scored two tries each for Kinsale and Renaud Sergere got one. Paul Perez kicked four conversions.
Newcastle West defeated Castleisland 13-8 to keep their promotion hopes alive. The sides were tied 3-3 at half time JJ Casey opened the scoring with a penalty for Castleisland and Tommy Kelleher levelled for the home side. The winners were awarded a penalty try and Kelleher converted and also kicked a penalty. Pat Fitzgerald earned the Kerry side a losing bonus point with a try.
Two penalties by Eoin Keohane gave Muskerry a 6-3 interval lead at home to Killarney, but the visitors hit back to run out 18-6 winners.
Scariff eased their relegation worries with a 30-20 away win over Bandon. The home side led 12-10 at half time with tries from Des Prendergast and Chris Hartnett and a Kevin South conversion. Pat Prendergast scored a third try for Bandon after the break and South added a penalty. Scariff replied with tries from Steve Madden, Robbie Madden and Paul McTiernan. James Kelly kicked three conversions, two penalties and a drop goal.
The Ennis Newport game was postponed due to the pitch being waterlogged.
In the Junior Three League South a try from Ger Wade and a conversion and penalty by Mark Bevan gave Cork Transport a 10-7 away win over Sunday's Well.
Mitchelstown defeated Fermoy 18-3 in their derby game at Fermoy. Paudie Dennehy and Sean Coughlan scored tries for the winners and Richard Barry kicked a conversion and two penalties.
