The Munster Seconds League North kicked off with U.L. Bohemian and Thomond sharing the spoils at Annacotty, when they played a 24-24 draw. Harry de Stacpoole, JJ Hanrahan, Ian Condell and Paul Ryan scored tries for U.L. and Hanrahan kicked two conversions.
Paul O'Brien kicked a penalty for Bruff in their 19-3 home defeat by Young Munster and Nenagh Ormond defeated Old Crescent 45-0 at Rosbrien.

In the Southern section Dolphin and Cork Constitution played a 20-20 draw at Musgrave Park. Alan O'Driscoll opened the scoring with a penalty for Dolphin but Con' hit back with a try from Conor Desmond which Peter O'Sullivan converted for a 7-3 lead. A try by Ken O'Donovan converted by O'Driscoll left the home side 10-7 ahead at half time.
Two penalties by O'Sullivan and a try by Tim Dukelow looked like securing the points for the Temple Hill side, but in the final few minutes when Con' were reduced to fourteen, Dolphin rallied with tries from Ger O'Keeffe and Rory Geoghan to secure a draw.
Highfield picked up maximum points when they defeated Midleton 26-7 at the Towns Park. Billy Collins, Aidan Burke, James Sheehan and Tommy Upton scored tries for the winners and Johnnie Sheehan kicked three conversions.
Kenmare and Iveragh made their debuts in the South Munster Junior 2 League and both suffered defeats. Kenmare lost at home to Tralee 50-3 with the scoreline flattering the visitors. Richard Liston scored two tries for the winners and Barry Laide, Cian O'Sullivan, Eoin Murphy, Patrick Galvin, John O'Neill and Jason McCann got one each with Brendan O'Mahony converting five of the tries.
A try from Tony Cournane and two penalties by Brian O'Leary was not enough for Iveragh who lost 28-11 away to Killarney. Mike Lucey, Kevin O'Leary, Eamon Maguire and Cha Johnson scored tries for the winners and Ken O'Grady kicked a conversion and two penalties.
In the other game in this section Castleisland defeated Listowel 14-12. Kieran Shanahan and Seamus Riordan score tries for the winners and Cathal King kicked a conversion.
Cobh Piratescaused a shock with a 22-20 win over Cork Constitution and so made amends for last weeks defeat in the semi final of the Dennehy Cup. Peter Ahern, Peter Mullin and Tadgh Hawes scored tries for the home side and Cian Connolly kicked two conversions and a penalty. The Temple Hill side replied with tries from Shane Desmond and Ray O'Sullivan and Will Long converted both and also added two penalties.
Crosshavendefeated Sunday's Well 16-7 with Douglas Dean scoring a try and Kenny O'Donovan converted and also added three penalties.

U.L. Bohemian won the Waterpark Under 21 festival when they defeated NUMI Barnhall 12-6 in the final to lift the Ellickson trophy.
