Garryowen booked their place in the semi final after their 22-3 away win over Kanturk. Tries from Ryan Sexton, Mark Hanrahan and Mark Healy and a Geoff Ryan conversion gave the Limerick side a 17-0 interval lead. Mark Melbourne scored a fourth try for Garryowen and Kanturk's only reply was a penalty by Darragh Meade.
Richmond will now meet Garryowen in the semi finals after their 16-3 away win over Clanwilliam. Tries from Mike Kelleher and Gareth O'Hanlon to a penalty by Robbie Doyle left it 10-3 in favour of Richmond at half time. Brian Mullins added two penalties in the second half to secure victory for the Limerick side.
The Skibbereen v Muskerry tie was postponed due to the weather with the winners away to Highfield in the outstanding quarter final tie.
Killarney defeated newly crowned Division Three champions Killorglin 28-8 to book their place in the final of the Munster Junior Plate. Ger Moynihan, Mike Henderson and Colin McCarthy scored tries for Killarney and Paudie Sheahan kicked two conversions and three penalties. Killorglin replied with a try from Brian Hayes and a penalty by Luke O'Shea.
Waterford City defeated Scariff 22-0 in the final of the Munster Junior Bowl at Thurles. An Aaron Foskin penalty gave the Suirsiders a 3-0 interval lead. Michael Costelloe, Trevor Griffin and Eamonn O'Keeffe added tries in the second half and Conor Power converted two of them.
Young Munster booked their place in the Munster Second League Final with a 34-27 home win over Highfield. Two tries from Declan Bannon and one each by Lukas Kunz, Greg Barry and Ger Bourke were Munster's try scorers. Bannon kicked three conversions and a penalty Dave Norris, Richie Duggan and Fintan O'Sullivan replied with tries for Highfield, Colm Downs kicked two penalties and a conversion and Brian O'Hea also added two conversions.
Youghal caused a surprise in the O'Neill Cup when they defeated Bandon 29-22. Ian Broderick, Scott O'Sullivan and Anthony Mason scored tries for Youghal and Sean Barry kicked a conversion and four penalties. Bandon replied with tries from Mike Murphy, Gearoid Crowley and Jerry Crowley, Cathal Crowley added two conversions and a penalty.
Cork Constitution were defeated 19-13 by Dublin University in the quarter final of the Frazer McMullan Under 21 All Ireland Cup at Temple Hill. Cian McGovern kicked two penalties and converted a penalty try for the home side. U.C.C. will now face Dublin University in the semi final.
Muskerry advanced to the semi finals of the McCarthy Cup with a 10-6 away win over Bandon. Dave Barrett scored a try for the winners and Cian Fitzgerald kicked a conversion and penalty.
Tries from Roy Murphy and Michael Lynch and a Lynch conversion was not enough for Carrigaline who lost at home to Fermoy 30-12.
