Killarney won the Munster Junior Plate for the second time in three years when they defeated near neighbours Castleisland 15-11 in an exciting game at Tralee.
Three penalties from Paudie Sheahan gave Killarney a 9-3 half time lead. Connie Reynolds replied with a penalty for Castleisland. Sheahan added two further penalties and Castleisland had a try from Mike Cronin and a second penalty by Reynolds.

Two penalties from Jeff Daly was enough for Fermoy who defeated Dunmanway-Bantry Bay 6-0 in the semi final of the O'Neill Cup. They will meet Muskerry in the final after the Mid Cork side received a walk over from Youghal.
Richmond's great season continues when their second XV defeated Fethard 11-6 to reach the final of the Webb Cup and a meeting with Thomond which will be a repeat of the Gleeson League Final. Mike Geary scored a try for Richmond and Dara Clancy kicked two penalties.
