Leisure Rugby Referee Recruitment Officer

The IRFU is currently recruiting for a Leisure Rugby Referee Recruitment Officer to join the team at IRFU headquarters on Lansdowne Road.
The Irish Rugby Football Union (IRFU) is the governing body for the sport in Ireland. It is dedicated to the development, growth and success of rugby football and has over 300 technical, professional rugby-playing and support staff. Leisure Rugby, and Tag Rugby in particular, has been one of the fastest growing areas of the IRFU in recent years and has increased in popularity at a phenomenal rate over recent years across Ireland.

The successful candidate will have thorough knowledge of Tag Rugby and experience of refereeing. Excellent organisational, interpersonal, analytical and teamwork skills are also required for this role.

Responsibilities associated with this role will include:
" Overseeing the recruitment and training of IRFU Tag Referees.
" Designing and implementing IRFU Tag Code of Conduct and relevant disciplinary policy and procedures.
" Implementing and maintaining IRFU Tag Playing Laws.
" Co-ordinating referees for various competitions, tournaments and festivals.
