With the Senior Cup title now out of reach, defending champions Presentation Brothers College Junior Cup team will be hoping to keep their silverware hopes alive when they travel to Garryowen to play Crescent College Comprehensive.  PBC have enjoyed wins over St. Munchins College and Ardscoil Ris in this years campaign and will no doubt be aiming to continue the trend on Wednesday.  Despite losing their first round quarter final game to Castletroy College, Crescent College Comprehensive came through the second round with a 22-7 win over Glenstal Abbey School, with kicker full back Brian Murphy instrumental in that win. 

Down the road at Old Crescent RFC, Castletroy College and Christian Brothers College play in the second semi final at the same time.  While their Senior teams prepare for their meeting in the final of the Senior Cup, on Wednesday the Junior sides will be aiming to book their spots in the Junior final on March 12th.  Both sides are undefeated in this years competition, with Castletroy College defeating Crescent in the first round, and having a narrow 10-8 victory over St. Munchins in the second round to book their semi final place.  CBC defeated Ardscoil Ris 17-7 in the first round quarter final, and knocked Rockwell College out of the competition in the second round with a 15-0 win.  Winger Michael Ryan has scored three tries over the course of the two games.
