The event is to highlight and promote the sport of Wheelchair Rugby. There will be a demonstration at 12 noon by Irelands only Wheelchair Rugby Team, the Gaelic Warriors which will be followed by an open session where participants will be given the opportunity to try out the sport for themselves.

The day is targeted at anyone with an interest in getting involved in Wheelchair Rugby recreationally, competitively or simply as a volunteer. As well as this, parents, coaches, carers, special needs assistants, and facility managers will be more than welcome at the event.
