The Level 1 Coaching Course took place in Garryowen FC on 16th, 17th and 18th May last with 34 participants from the North Munster area.  The course was tutored by three of Munster Rugbys Regional Development Offiers Paul Collins, John Lacey and Finny O' Regan with the assistance of Colin Moran, IRFU. 

The contents over the three day course included modules such as Principles of Play, Skill Development, Individual Skills, Referee Laws and Unit Skills.  Feedback from all participants was very positive and we look forward to their IRFU Level 1 accreditation in the near future.

The South Munster Level 1 Coaching Course will be held in Coláiste Stiofán Naofa on 22nd, 23rd  and 24th August and all coaches on the Long Term Player Development Stage 3 pathway are invited to apply.  Details of Stage 3 can be found here.

This Septemeber will also see the introduction of the Level 1 Assistant Coaching Course, which is specifically for Assistant backs and forwards coaches.  This will take place in Cork on the 5th and 6th of September. 

We will be running a Mini Coaching Course in Clanwilliam RFC, Tipperary on August 15th and 16th
This course is for Coaches who coach Mini Rugby (6-12 years).
