A selection of players from the Daughters of Charity in Munster recently took part in a challenge match at Garryowen Rugby Club.

With participation in championships such as the Womens Rugby World Cup, the Six Nations and the European Championships, the Irish Womens Rugby team is now firmly on the international stage in one of the fastest growing sports in the world.
As National Womens Team Manager, your primary responsibilities will include the management of all aspects of the national team regarding their welfare during squad activities, as well as administration, expenses and arrangements for travel, accommodation and fixtures. You will also represent the squad at meetings with management and liaise with other members of the IWRFU with regard to accounts, team schedules and media releases.
The successful candidate for this role will have a strong administrative background and the ability to work with discretion and initiative. A working knowledge of womens rugby is essential along with excellent organisation, communication and planning skills. Previous experience in managing a team of sports professionals would be a distinct advantage.
