Irish Colleges to play Scottish Universities

The Irish Colleges play the Scottish Universities on Wednesday 2nd May 2007 at Suttonians Rugby Club with a 2pm Kick-off.

This should be a very competitive fixture with the Universities have been narrowly defeated last weekend by the Combined British Services U23s in Scotland by 28pts to 17pts.

The Irish Colleges has a comprehensive victory over the Scottish Students in Edinburgh last year when they won by 47pts to Nil. The Scottish Universities have regrouped this year and are a far stronger outfit playing a very fast attacking rugby.

The Irish Colleges have defeated the Combined Services in Dublin this year by 34pts to 17pts and this Saturday at Twickenham the Services will be hoping to defeat the English Universities for the second year running.
