Holders Midleton begin their campaign with a home tie against Cobh Pirates on what should prove a very interesting local derby.
Both Cork Constitution and Dolphin will be fancied to meet in the semi finals.

Due to Garryowens involvement in a tournament in France they will not be contesting this years Limerick Charity Cup. U.L. Bohemian who have won the trophy for the past two seasons begin with a home tie against Nenagh Ormond.
