Elite Rugby Development Officer, Munster Rugby, Cork based
Munster Rugby is currently accepting applications for the position of Elite Rugby Development Officer based in Cork, Munster. The Elite Rugby Development Officer is an integral part of Munsters rugby operations and the successful applicant will be required to fulfil the following main duties:
" Visits to schools and clubs to identify players and develop elite facets of the game of rugby through technical sessions
" Delivery of a series of tailored, focused and high quality elite rugby development programmes and initiatives
" Individual player reviews and technical analysis
" Facilitation of physical conditioning sessions
" Organising elite player clinics and camps
" Coordinating, organising and administering rugby operations and procedures as assigned by the Academy Manager
The successful candidate will have a
" strong coaching background to AIL level
" be self motivated and able to work unsupervised
" previous knowledge and playing experience of rugby
" strong communication, leadership and presentation capability
" positive and proactive approach to coaching rugby
" ability to present and teach in an effective manner
" strong computer literacy skills
" experience in physical conditioning
