Presentation Brothers College Transition Year Students recently completed a Rugby Coaching Course following 11 weeks of modules tutored by Munster Rugby Coaching Officers.

Reporting to the Provincial Academy Board, Director of Rugby and the CEO of the IRFU Munster Branch, the Academy Manager will possess the following:
" A minimum of Level 2 coaching status and experience of coaching at both adult and youth levels within the game.
" A complete understanding of the game of Rugby Football.
" Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to lead, motivate and monitor the work of a team.
Responsibilities associated with the role of Academy Manager will include:
" Co-ordinating and managing the Provincial Academy Programme within the agreed financial parameters.
" Ensuring full compliance with all the skill and conditioning modules set out by the National Academy Board.
" Ensure the provision of all necessary positional specific coaches/ tutors to assist player development.
" To maintain records and provide feedback to the Provincial Academy Board on all players in the system.
" To work closely with all school/club coaches with players in the Academy system.
" To work closely with the medical structures to ensure compliance with agreed protocols.
" To be available to assist in any coaching or development programmes run by the IRFU.
