"A draw for each round is made after the conclusion of the previous round. In the quarter finals a winning team from the first round will be at home to a losing team from the first round. Teams cannot meet for a second time until the final".
a) There is a draw after each round of the Cup
b) The winner in the first round will get a home quarter final
c) The semi finals will be an open draw between the four winning quarter finalists
Please note: There is no extra time in any schools match. Senior Cup matches will play 35 minutes aside with 30 minutes aside for Junior Cup.
For first round matches both in the Senior and Junior Cup there is no replay -
The criteria that applies in that case is:-
1 Team that scores most tries win
2 Team that scores the first try win
3 If there is no try scored, the team that scored first win
4 If there is a scoreless draw the away team is deemed the winner
From quarter final and semi final stage a replay will take place. If the replay ends in a draw the above criteria will then apply.
If there is a replay in the final, the first three above criteria will apply but if it scoreless the title will be shared.
