Irish Clubs Named For Scotland Clubs Encounter

The Ireland Club Team to play their Scottish counterparts in Millbrae, Ayr on Friday night (k.o. 19:30) has been named.
The Ireland Club XV will be defending their Dal Riada Trophy which they won last season.

The 23 man squad shows eight changes, including five new caps from the side which defeated England Counties last month in Temple Hill.

Cork Con's Gerry Hurley once again captains the side and he has a new partner at ten as Gavin Dunne comes in for his first cap.

Sub academy player Richie Mullane with his Shannon club-mate Kevin Griffin starting in the front row again. 

The back row is unchanged with UCC's William Ryan and Danny Kenny packing down alongside Frank Cogan.

In the replacements UCC's Brian Quill and Cork Con's Darragh Lyons are in line to win their first Club International cap.
