Two of the three scheduled blitz days in the Munster U14, U16 and U18 girls 7’s competition have recently taken place in Carrick On Suir and Thurles rugby clubs.

The competition was held over two days which saw teams from all over the province putting their 7’s skills into practice with some high scoring games and impressive skills on display.

Munster Rugby will host the final girls 7’s competition on November 17th in Coonagh, Limerick.

Lineout Clinic At Thurles RFC

Munster Rugby recently held a line out clinic at Thurles RFC which was overseen by the Munster Women’s Senior Head Coach Coach Gary Walsh.

Topics covered on the night ranged from lifting techniques to the throw into the lineout. The coaches present were given the opportunity to assess the lineout at the practical element of the clinic on the pitch.

Munster Rugby would like to thank Thurles RFC for the use of their facilities on the  night.

Tag Rugby Blitz

Clanwilliam FC recently hosted a schools tag rugby blitz with 130 players taking part ranging from 13 to 18 years of age.

All teams played four games each throughout the day including a number of teams competing for the first time.
