Mini & Foundation Coaching Courses At CSN

Munster Rugby ran Stage 1 (mini rugby) and Stage 2 (foundation level) Rugby Courses last week-end at Colaiste Stiofan Naofa (CSN), Cork with over 70 coaches from clubs and schools in attendance.

The two courses saw the induction of the new refreshed IRFU course material and involved both indoor tutorials and outdoor practical sessions.

Areas covered included an introduction to the IRFU Long Term Player Development Plan and the Rugby Technical model. Modules also included the Role of the Coach, Teaching Rugby Skills, Planning and Organisation, Individual Skill Development and Key Factor Analysis.

Munster Rugby will be running Stage 1 and 2 courses on 16th and 17th November in Limerick, with very limited spaces available. Should you wish to attend please contact course co-ordinator, Siobhan Collins at siobhancollins@munsterrugby.ie
