A total of eleven first year teams played a series of matches against each other giving them the opportunity to gain rugby experience in a non competitive environment.

The second year students played a competitive fixture which saw CBS Tralee overcome Castlegregory Secondary School in the final.

CBS Tralee student Daniel Curnane from New Zealand brought a little culture to the day by giving a display of his traditional Haka prior to kicking off the final.
