Tries from Willie Coffey, Alan McMahon and Rory Horgan helped Rockwell to a 19-0 victory over Glenstal to make it four wins from four in the Bowen Shield. Tommy Anglim converted two of the tries.

In the McCarthy Cup Rockwell won their first game with a 27-22 win over Glenstal Abbey in an exciting game.
Paudie Leamy, Michael Murphy, Bill O’Brien, Conor Cashman and Mark Collins scored tries for Rockwell and Paudie Feehan added one conversion.
