The first half was even enough but the visitors ran in four tries, while the home side failed to cross the whitewash.

Munster trailed 13-6 at half time with Gearoid Lyons kicking  two penalties for the home side and Leinster replied with a try from Billy Dardis and Ross Byrne converted and also adding two penalties.

Leinster were on top in the second half and ran in three further tries by Cormac Brennan, Fergal Cleary and James McCormack with Byrne converting all three. Muster’s only response was two further penalties by Lyons.

Munster finish their campaign with a trip to Belfast on Saturday week 22nd September with a 1.30 kick off.
