Interprovincial Preparations Continue

The Munster U20 representative side came away with a 15-7 win over the Italy U19s yesterday evening in Musgrave Park in a pre interprovincial warm up friendly.
Scrum-half Brian Haugh kicked the only points in the opening half leaving it 3-0 at half time.

Munster tries came in the second half from second row Jamie Kind and replacement Rob Jermyn with out-half Tom Munster's Rory Scannell on the chargeKiersey adding the extras.

Italy’s final consolation came from a penalty try in the 60th minute of play.

Munster U20’s will travel to Manchester on Monday 27th August to take on the Sale Sharks as part of their pre season preparations.

Munster U18 Schools

The Munster U18 Schools took on French side Languedoc yesterday at Cashel RFC where they were defeated 27-19.

Captain Steve McMahon crossed the line on two occasions and full-back Stephen Fitzgerald also touched down.

Fitzgerald added two conversions however this was not enough to claim a home victory.

The Munster Schools will travel to Sunbury on Sunday 26th August to take on London Irish in their final warm-up game pre interpro series.
